Drove up to this one. For some reason there was a ranger there, not as a fire lookout but like as a visitor center outreach type thing. Which seemed very odd as I don't think this peak gets much traffic. She wanted to be helpful, probably bored, but I was just like, got my peak, got my pic, k thx bye.

Nice lookout and peak. Very scenic area. Highly recommended.

Drive up
Very long, scenic road. Brought my grandparents up this for their first "summit". Lookout was secured, and wind deterred us from staying long. Fire scorched trees surrounding the lookout give it an eery feeling...

Motorcycle ApproachI rode my trials motorcycle up to the lookout when I was about 13. It was still actively used in those days.
