Falling Rock Cyn.
Got there so early, the parking lot was empty! Quick up and down then off to work.
Needs a new register. The book got wet and is ruined, because the pvc tube leaks.

5 Peaks Hike
Hiked 5 peaks (plus Ontario false peak) with Travis via Falling Rock Canyon (great cl.2/3 scramble.) Hit Sugarloaf, Ontario, Bighorn, Cucamonga, and Etiwanda before exiting via the Icehouse Canyon trail. We were fortunate to get great views from all five summits before the clouds enveloped the peaks.

I took Falling Rock Canyon from the Ontario Summit down to sugarloaf because of the route listed on the sierra club site. I did not enjoy the loose miserable descent, but what can you do. Number 10 of a 10 peak saga comprising Baldy, Harwood, Thunder, Timber, Telegraph, Etiwanda, Bighorn, Ontario, and Cucamonga.
Route Climbed: Southwest Ridge Date Climbed: 12/00
Awesome exposed route. I have done the standard Falling Rock Route a few times so it was nice to do a new route to this great peak. Great views of San Antonio Canyon. Be careful, read the route write up before trying.
