I immediately agreed with your correction, but then I went looking to where I might have got the bogus spelling. First I pulled up a Periodic Table of elements and it had the "ph" spelling. Then, I checked 2 guide books that list Last Chance and they both spell it "sulfur". Next, I asked my wife to spell it for me (she is the ultimate authority in my book) and she said "s-u-l-f-u-r". I then challenged her with your spelling and she brought out the Webster's collegiate dictionary and it indicated the "ph" spelling is British. I still like your spelling and I will edit my pages accordingly.
some folks call those mines the "Crater Group" or just "Crater Mine." Personally, I like sul(ph/f)ur, as you can smell the sul(ph/f)ur as you drive by.

SulphurJust a minor correction: Sulphur is spelled with a "ph".
