The original 1883 benchmark

here is, interestingly, the cairn itself! The disk is a 1958 afterthought.

thank you geopooch (one smart doggie) for that history insight. We had to paw through the snow to find the register buried on the other side of the rock wall that is in need of a new register book. The three small ones are filled up. Thank you.
