Re: Celebrities!Bushwhackin is right. Bob Bolton and I went in from the east side (8-18-07) and the brush was incredible. Ugly stuff. You earn this peak and I am happy to report that the register jar is still intact.

I did the Rhododendron Ridge trail to Mount Lowe from Hawk Mountain on Saturday. From Mount Lowe you get a great view of Schreiner. If I would have brought my binocs I might have seen you.

Re: Celebrities!Amazing to know you could see Schreiner. We hung around the summit from 2 pm to almost 3.
I didn't take too many shots that came out good but I'll have to check out the shot(s) I took to the west to see if I can see you standing there on Mt. Lowe waving at us. ; )

Re: Celebrities!We were on the summit of Lowe from 2:00 till 2:30 (We still had a 9.5 mile trek back to the truck)

Re: Celebrities!So we were on those two summits at the same time. It took Bob and I almost 4 hours to do the lousy two miles back to our vehicles. It also took us 4 hours to get up those same two miles. That is a nasty bushwhack.
