CaptivatingThe very contrast of the mountainside draws you to it. Immediately, you need to be there. Much depth in this picture - foregroud and its greys, the brown, and the wonderful horizontal striation. And then onto the distance. Not often you get three focal regions in a photo. Depth of focus too. Well picked.

Re: My favorite....This is one photo I wish I'd taken! I've not yet climbed either Stimson or Pinchot, but both are high on my "to-do" list--just doing Stimson is a three-day outing (some friends of mine, very accomplished climbers, took five days!).

niceHey that pic brings back memories of a very late summit and a feeling of happiness and dread at the same time, traversing pinchot face was a nightmare in the fading light. Cool pic
