After altering from our main plan for the week we wanted to do something with excellent views of the Tetons. We found Table Mountain and believed, that since it was outside the park, it would be less crowded and logistically simpler. I think this was true, though the trail was still far from empty.
Loved the hike! Not a bad one at all. Some of the better views that I have seen from a summit.

Fun Hike!
We hiked up the face route in 3 hours and down the huckleberry trail in about the same amount of time with an hour lunch brake on the summit. Super smokey but still a beautiful and really fun day! Super thick vegetation down low though some of the wild flowers are over 5' tall!

Beautiful hike, worth doing
Easy drive from Boise, and fun hike with girlfriends.
We went up the steep route and came down Huckleberry for a nice loop. Cool sedimentary geology along the way. Gorgeous, need to spend more time in the Tetons.

Up in 3 hours with Brit while carrying 3 1/2 month old Journey Rae. Down in 1:45. Love this mountain and route...incredible stuff.

loop
Up the steep "unmaintained" trail, down the ridge into Alaska Basin, then out the next day. Fun overnighter loop.

via Face Trail
Skied in from the winter trailhead, shoed the rest of the way to the top. wished we had crampons/ice axe for the final push, quite icy... limited purchase with snowshoes. foggy at the top, no views, but a proper adventure. overnight on the mountain. approx 17.5 miles roundtrip via the west face trail.
Beautiful sunny day, very crowded summit. Found a nicer more secluded ledge to view the Tetons from west of the summit, then the crowds followed us there.

via North Fork Teton Canyon
awesome views in every direction - spent more than two hours on summit, but had to share it with no less than 20 people. I can't think of another 11,000 peak in Tetons accessible on a day hike.
Climbed this twice, once with the old Liquor Store gang including Dr. Shultz who was already in his sixties at the time; once with my parents who both made it. The beautiful views of the mountains from the west may be the finest available from that angle.

nice hike
A steep but nice hike...good to get on the Idaho side...that Death Canyon Shelf group looks even better after doing them all two days prior! Crowded hike; lots of folks from Idaho Falls come. Sick views of the Teets and the west Moran ridge group.

Amazing climb!
Wet and rainy in Teton Canyon, was glorious up on the ridge. Other climbing parties this day were denied a view of the main Teton Range due to clouds, but we had great views when we summitted!
