Spent a fun afternoon hiking up to the summit, and taking in the views of Shuksan and Baker. Lovely little walk with a tiny bit of low grade scrambling in one section. Loads of fun
Nice alpine walk from false summit to western summit

From Artist Point
Spent a beautiful night up at Artist Point. The slope to get up this one is very steep if you go straight up the slope from Artist Point. You can kinda switchback it and cut into the trees to get better traction. Afterwards it is a nice long traverse across the "table" to the summit. Excellent views of Baker and Shuksan all the way. Many skiers up here but none went all the way to the summit.

Fun spring ascent
Topped out late in the morning with a friend A framing skis, got to the back of the 'L' with intention to drop in and make a circuit of Bagley Basin back to the car, but a 40ft cornice prevented the drop in. Climbed back down the face and skiied out, and got SUNBURNT. Great weather, kicked off a small wet slide near the face on the way out

Bluebird day from Artist Point
Family trip to the PNW; my wife and I quickly ran to the top while the others waited in the parking lot. Definitely worth tagging on a clear day; I sat and stared at Baker for a while. Stunning scenery!

In the clouds
No views at all. Snowshoes all day. Did a loop, lots of whoomping of the return slope. Terrified most of the way. Big Peaks group (~10)
I was in the area and decided to jog to the top. It's an extremely short hike. With thick fog and low visibility we walked around on the summit not knowing it was the summit until we couldn't go any higher.

Hannah's First Real Mountain
Hannah Brandel, my daughter, trooped up to the eastern summit with me, despite cerebral palsy on her left side. Way to go! From Hannah: 'I did it!'
Some haze from fires in the area that cleared a bit by noon. I tagged the west summit while Hannah rested.

Ski descent
Climbed up over Table in some less than desirable dust on crust / ice conditions - boot pack on the steep section was great climbing in the early AM (ice axe seemed like a must). Descent to the lake wasn't bad barring the frozen water runnels about 200M up from the lake (treacherous!). Clear weather, stable base - good times

First summit as a part of a three summit day. Don't believe the hype, the trail is up to six feet wide in many places as you ascend the cliff face, only getting to a couple feet wide in a few spots. My three year old had no problem. I'd call that kid friendly, but steep at first. Once on top of the table, it's very fast and very easy to the summit. As you'd expect, beautiful in your face views of Baker and Shuksan. Signage in the parking lot indicates it's 1.5 miles.
Skied dozens of lines on all aspects. Ice potential looks good?!

Easy but Exposed, Great views
Nice easy hike if you are tired from the day before. The trail is wide but on the way up the trail goes through a number of switchbacks that catwalk a cliff. If you take your kids use caution but most advanced hikers will find this to be no big deal. Easy and beautiful.

Table Mountain
Early snows brought our the snoshoes early for a trip to the summit. Perfectly clear day for views.
I hiked up Table Mountain twice in the summer of 2005, once with my three year old son, and the second time was with my wife and son, later on that summer. From Artist's Point, it is a short but steep hike up to the top, and the trail is fairly exosed for part of the way. The path up is wide enough for passing, just beware of loose shale and rock. The panoramic view once you reach the top is fantastic, and I would recommend it to anyone heading up to Mt Baker for the day. Another really great trail up there is the Ptarmigan Ridge trail, which skirts the East side of Table Mountain. Fantastic views along the way, and for the really ambitious, it will take you all the way to the glacier at the base of Mt Baker.
