Late Fall Hike
Drove Jungle Creek Rd. One spot with deep ruts. Parked near Liars Prairie. A mix of road walking, way trail, and some bushwhacking. Great views with a little smokey haze.
We visited the former "Middle Teanaway" and Teanaway Butte LO sites, as well as the summit. While doing some additional exploring during the trip, I was able to find some leftover lookout-related debris, wooden platform, etc. No other hikers but one DNR officer drove up the road looking for motorcyclists.

lovely!
Nice trip - we ended up turning this into somewhat of an adventure by following the trail not smooshed down w/ snowshoe prints ... ended up climbing up the very steep face of the butte - a challenge, but fun ... and a beautiful day! I definitely recommend going the RIGHT way, as our adventure was definitely off the beaten path and slightly sketchy at times ...but fun!

A Great Snowshoe
The best snowshoeing conditions I have ever seen. Along on this trip were Aaron, Josh, Gareth, Steve, Mike and Greg. We came in along Jungle Creek and then went back along the ridge, over the top of Tarzan Butte. Thanks EastKing for doing all the navigation work.
