Scrambled a couple
of the biggest hills and van camped in the area many times over the years.
Took me several years as a climber to make it to the Hills, but I finally did. Had a great time celebrating Rachel's b-day.

Had a great day with the girlfriend (for once, she wasnt cold). Saw the Arch, Climbed the fin, slabbed up the "Eye of the Moon Goddess (sp?)" Took a small fall on a really sweet black dike formation (thank God she was using a gri-gri!)and met a TON of people from the bay area. Great location and a really sweet Memorial Day weekend.

fun
Fun scrambling abound, some nice climbing too, can be a bit redundant. Stopped here after getting shut down on the approach to the North Ridge of LPP in the winter.

Fun scrambling
Spent good part of a day out here hiking and scrambling on the awesome rocks, taking good pics.
My brother and I spent a good portion of a day climbing around the area and having a blast. This is an awesome area with tons of variety, and some great photo opportunities!
I just wish the camping was free and the rangers wouldn't hassle you. Other than that, it's a fine place to drink a beer and pull on some monzo.

'Bout Time!
Finally found a reason to climb at A-Hills - TINA! We had a great day on a few routes with many laughs and lots of exfoliation. It was pretty warm on Rotten Bananas (5.7) but comfy on Pistacho Wall. Nice place.
Spent three days out there climbing with some frineds and fellow SPers. Nice weather with awesome views of Whitney. Climbed at Pauls Paradise and the Tall Wall area. I can't wait to go back.

"Loafs" of fun
What a great little day-trip to the A-Hills with Dave Daly. Great climbing, better weather, and even better fun doing bad Bear Grylls impersonations, drinking Fat Tire Ale and climbing some great routes!
Will be back here 4 sure!

High PointHiked up to the high point and signed the register located in a jar. Looks like good rock climbing. If I return to this area, I'll bring a rope.

Re: Wonderful Wkend of Leading & TR'ingI'd have to second the compliments to Tim Standing. What an outstanding place to play!
I had the "what am I doing here?" attitude on the first day, but by the second, I was starting to feel like I could do this stuff again.
Those who know me well know I'll rarely take the lead with a female around. Thanks Tina. I'll follow you anywhere (almost).
