Fun PNW Group Hike!
A little over an hour up and down, this is the perfect easy peak with scrambling, I would argue the best beginner scrambler I've ever done.

Busy But Fun
Fun scramble to the top. Only had 1 arm from shoulder surgery and really no real issues. Had Brett give me a hand a couple of times, but it was a ton of fun with beautiful views all around. Lots of people, though, and a conga like practically the whole way up.
I climbed the Beehive very early on a Friday morning. When I finished, I could see what looked like hundreds of people in a conga line on their way up.

Short and sweet
Gorgeous hike in a spectacular park! Maybe should have held off another week for the foliage to be in full tilt, but was blown away nonetheless. Well worth the time invested.
Did this with my wife on a family vacation to Acadia. We put our feet in the water at Sand Beach and then headed up the Beehive. We continued on to hit Champlain Mtn, Dorr Mtn, and finally Cadillac Mtn for an 8 mile day.

All Alone
No one was really in this area of the park at all, so I had it almost to myself -- except for a few stragglers who drifted further and further behind me until the iron rungs when they realized they were in over their head.

Short but fun
Great times on the ladders and cliffs. Awesome views for a small amount of work. Did this as a point to point from Precipice Trail to Sand Beach with a loop over the Beehive to be able to hit the fun stuff.
came down from mt Champlain and went to sand beach

fun hike
My climbing mentor and myself took our climbing students up to this for a fun short hike before our beach day. This is a very fun hike with some awesome views of the bay, island and also Otter Cliffs.
Around 16, climbed it with my brother and dad. Amazing views in clear weather! They had talked up the fatal exposure, so I was a bit surprised that it turned out to be a much more casual experience, though I suppose it all depends on your tolerance of heights.

Avoid summer crowds
Do it early in the season (June) so you won't have to deal with traffic jams on face. Good warm up for the Precipice - see how you feel on the iron rungs here before you move on to the Precipice Trail.
