"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Great mountainstunning mountain, best of the Arrochar Alps by far. It is a real shame it is not a Munro. Shame about the weather which was poor to say the least. it happens every time I go to Arrochar.

Bit Of A Delay:Should have signed this the day I wrote the SP-Page...! Doh.
Its a great summit to do and although smaller than the other Arrochar's it has to be the most shapely.
It was a dam cold day at -6 degrees C. But the sun was out and that soon warmed you up when out in it.

interesting summitsA mountain with three interesting summits, even in the mist. The South Peak was never going to be scaled by such a lamentable scrambler as me. The Central Peak looked much easier but given the damp and windy conditions I gave it a miss.

CobblerDespite periods of sunshine the day we went up, recent weather had rendered the technical climbing pretty dang greasy. Still a fine day in the hills on a peak I'd long wanted to climb.
Hiked the north summit, scrambled the central, and downclimbed a bit short of the south summit when it started snowing (Russell and I didn't fancy the unroped downclimb with a lot of build up.)
Beautiful, atmospheric hill.

The CobblerNice days climb with a little scrambling at the final stages. Brilliant views from the summit. Back again in May 2008 on a fantastic day. Climbed onto the (true) summit rock this time round.
