Took the rope
It stayed in my bag the entire way and slowed me down. Finding the start of the route was a bit tricky but after that it was fun scrambling all the way with some wonderful exposure. We climbed up the Crowberry Tower before heading for the top, the view from up there is unbelievable. Descended in a squall
Quick tick on the way up to do Tower Ridge...will be back in the winter...fantastic scenery to boot..

A perfect winter day
A perfect winter day out with lots of snow and ice. A very nice route requiring a few 'spicy' moves at times. A good deal of exposure on the higher gullies too!

Curved Ridge
Really nice day out, good weather, even little bit too hot. If you are a rock climber don't take the rope, no point to carry it with you all the way up.

Winter ascent
We wanted something a bit mellow after a taxing Tower Ridge from the car park the previous day, so did a round trip up Curved Ridge in just 5h30. Fun and exposed climbing with a few tricky moves for which we roped up, otherwise quite easy. Too bad we couldn't see anything during the whole day...

Great routeClimbed with Chris M in misty weather. Made a navigational mistake on the top and ended up in Glen Etive, had to walk all the way around to Glencoe!

Many times!I have climbed this wonderful scramble more times than I can count. For decades it was my favourite scramble and I nipped up it several times in 1980's solo or with others, during a 5 year period I lived in Scotland. Most memorable ascents were: 3rd July 1991 the only date I can pin down with accuracy since it was week before my oldest son was born - and I paraglided down from the summit (ideal as a last 'quick trip' before the birth!); circa 2001 when I took my then fiancé Leila up, circa 2005 when I took all 3 of my children up.
