But you should know that "dolina" in polish/slovak doesn't mean the same than "doline" in italian or french (despite the origin in the same)
"Dolina" means simply "Valley", not the geologic feature of "Doline"

A fine encounter indeed ...So, this is termed as a Calcium Carbonate
formation, in the limestone/dolomite family
of rocks ???
If so, can I please attach this to my "Calcium
Carbonate album?" Thank you so very much.

Re: A fine encounter indeed ...Yes, you can, but don't be mistaken by the comment of Gabrielle, this is far to be the only geologic feature of this kind in these mountains... Making an album of the "limestone tatras" could be indeed a good idea...
