The Glacier
Taking a break before starting the glacier crossing to the Strom/Assiniboine Col. The glacier was completely covered with snow with no open crevasses showing so we crossed it without roping. This was a judgement call based on the conditions as we found them on this particular day. If we had detected even a hint of risk we would have roped without hesitation. (Photo by Frank Florence)
