The Lower South Chilco Trail
The lower end of the South Chilco trail passes through a mixed conifer forest of grand fir, Douglas fir, western hemlock, lodgepole pine and occasional others. The forest floor is mostly covered with beargrass. Several elk were seen in this area. October 2009
