The North Ridge of Adams,...

The North Ridge of Adams, showing the descent route taken by me after climbing the Adams Glacier (on Sunday, July 3, 2005). The N Ridge is a big pile of choss and loose rocks, and it was pretty hard not to send rocks tumbling down with each step. There was enough snow on the climber's left of the ridge starting from the place where the red line ends, and hence it was okay to plunge down till that point. Luckily (yes!) I got lost a little below there and descended the line shown - much safer and easy plunging all the way down to camp!
