The old road

The old road is pretty much washed out in several key sections as it heads for some ruins near the base of the mountain but the wilderness designation stops you from getting there anyway. It is best to park before you drop into the wash section of the road that Dennis is walking on in this shot. Mormon Peak is hard to see since it is somewhat hidden in this view. I'll post a map with the GPS coordinates in the near future to help out with the route that we utilized. 4-29-11
