Sweet Shot!

Yep sure looks as though we do indeed have the same taste in scenery. Nothing like the desert my friend. Utah is absolutely incredible.

You found me out ... I was using reverse
pyschology. If I say, "Please climb it,"
then you have those who say, why should
we climb it when we can see it through
the monitor's screen on SP? I don't want
the world to become lazy! Just because we
have technology at our fingertips doesn't
mean we can't walk the walk, and discover
Nature in all its wonderous glory!

I was forced to run it through the "photo mill," or photo-lab because it received a
sub-standard vote, and I removed a date that
was stuck to the picture.

Actually, I need to return to this landmark,
and take a few more shots from different
angles and dimensions.

The REASON a person would have a difficult
time (climbing it) is because it contains
a special kind of "blue clay" that makes it
slippery and very hazardous to whoever
decides to climb it!

Badlands can be absolutely unclimbable, as I remarked at my Bulgaria's hoodoos, but here I meant my (independent!:)) photo climbing scale.

Actually once my old Irish friend insisted on me accepting as fact that my mind was - as he put it - "Anglo-Saxon"!!! Another thing, sorry to dissapoint you but IMHO most of the independent Eastern - and especially Central Eastern - Europeans have long gone (either overseas or to the otherworld).
Finally, your middle name, Larry, doesn't puzzle me at all as I remember your Granny was Czech. Perhaps that's why I enjoy talking to you so much:)

Yes Sir Reeee! Jaket, I seem to be having a
difficult time understanding all the different
races that you have so eloquently mentioned.

Over the past 40+ yrs. I've spent on mountains and in deserts, the only RACE I was ever worried about was the "Rat Race."

HEY, I wonder if that's the reason why so
many cats appear on SP - they keep all those
rats at bay and completely under control !!!

LOL !! I was searching for a logical
explanation WHY people post butterflies and
domestic cats on SP.

Sometimes, steam comes out of my ears from my
contemplation of this enigmatic mystery.

It's just a question - NOT that I don't like
butterflies & cats. I mean, I would probably
loose my karma (along with my MIND) if I said anything bad about butterflies & cats !!!!!!!!!!
