The "road"

that was bulldozed into the side of Maple Mountain can be seen here in this shot taken from the Y Mountain trail. I was surprised by the fresh look of this road that goes nowhere. Evidently the bulldozer was choppered in as anticipation of putting a ski area up in this area was on the drawing board at one time. If you don't see the road, go to the higher resolution.
