Until now ...the only Subway I ever heard of was the kind you put into your mouth! This looks like it could be somebody's private hot-tub!!!

It was almost lukewarm but refreshing last time I was there. I think it was 111F officially at visitor center that day!

Re: That's right !Yeah... you men seem to be like that! Bo jumps into potholes of ice water in the winter!!!! BRRRR!!!! But you know... next time I do the Subway I am going on a hot 111 degree day! Forget that horrible exit! I want warm water. ;)

Re: That's right !I want warm water. ;)
I would guess the water was at least 70 degrees when we were there, but it hat been HOT for several days prior. Even Kim liked the water. Outdide the shade and water, we couldn't touch the rocks without buring our hands.
Nights were hot except the ones we spent in the Narrows. In Zion Canyon and the Cove, it was above 95 when we tried to sleep. It's just to hard to sleep outside when it's 95!

Re: That's right !That's when you need to get a hotel room and relax at night with a cool one on the balcony. I bet you are a hardcore camper type that always camps out --- extreme heat or cold. Kimberly is your daughter.. right? I hope she got that gorgeous curly hair of yours!

We did do that for one night, but the rest of the nights we camped. Every time I've camped in Zion Canyon it is super windy.

We sometimes stay in a hotel on the way to somewhere, especially in winter.
Kimberly is your daughter.. right?
Nope, she's my wife. Our daughter is only three so she hasn't done the Subway yet. Kim came on the Zion trip and is in most of the photos:

Re: That's right !I have gone through ALL your Zion photos many times. Did you see the one I picked out for that Canyoneering in Zion page I made? (I saw a similar formatting on an album at sp (pictures worth a 2nd look) and wanted to play with it, and made that page just to use it for something. Dumb reason but that's why.) It's my favorite of you. Kim is beautiful and so youthful looking that I always thought she was a kid. ;)

You just made her day! At 35, she's actually two years older than me, but everyone thinks she's much younger. When I tell people we've been married 15 years, they tell me that I must have really robbed the cradle but she's really older than me so she's the one that robbed the cradle, hee hee. Still young at heart though!
