The Ugly Side of ICB

Wrecked by forest fire, this is the ugly side of Indian Creek Butte. I wondered down into this burnt out basin and found the forest is actually in a state of recovery. Although I am not certain how long ago this forest fire occurred (late 90's I think), the forest was blanketed in small Ponderosa Pine making a dramatic comeback.
