The Upper Summit Ridge of Two Ocean Mountain
Click on Orig for better and sharper viewing, as this picture has been cropped quite a bit.
The summit is the peak on the right. The outcrop at the left end of this breccia-composed ridge is the first significant obstacle. It can be bypassed on either side, but it is easier (better footing, more options-- from scrambles to hikes that require short descents-- and less exposure) to go around its left side. To reach the summit, you must get atop the rocky section that starts right about center in this picture, and doing so will require at least Class 4 moves on some pretty sketchy rock; I got up via a short pitch of stemming/chimneying moves. From there, it's pretty much a catwalk to the summit block itself, which is loose but not terribly so and can be climbed with Class 3 moves.
