The view north from Swithback...
The view north from Switchback Peak on August 5, 2001. Consensus among climbers is that Corax Peak is higher than Libby Peak and constitutes the highpoint of Raven Ridge. However, Libby is triangulated at 8580 and Corax 8572. Albeit, the latter's triangulation may not have been to the highest crag but this would be unusual. The probability is the surveyors made a mistake.
