it's worth the visit!
spent 3 nights in Stateline Campground - had applied for Wave permit months ahead.I was the first one there that day so had it to myself for an hour or more. When others arrived, I climbed to the arch on the skyline to the south, visited '2nd wave' further SW in Sand Cove Wash, and Buckskin Wash / Wire Pass confluence. Thin layer of ice on the desert potholes when I arrived.

Phenomenal!
We were really fortunate to get permits on a a day with such fantastic weather. Will never forget this spectacular spot!
Loved it! It was actually physically painful to leave. Not only is The Wave amazing, but there are several other formations around it that are well worth your time as well. We felt so lucky to be able to go there, and look forward to returning!

Lucky Lottery
Fun hike to a beautiful location. We got a walk-in permit for 2 the day before out of 82 groups applying. The adventure included traversing a high pass on the way out after getting off route. Also visited the Second Wave, Wire Pass and Buckskin Gulch.

Awesome
Absolutely unique, nothing like it. Worth the trouble of trying to get a permit (but difficult). Saw everything but never could find the dino tracks...

Great place to visit, especially during the warm fall spels.

The Wave
Been there a few times. Great place to take photos. First trip we went to the Wave, the grotto and Top Rock Arch. Another time we added the dino tracks and another Melody Arch. I love North Coyote Buttes, but South is really just as nice - but far more fragile! If you have not done South, do it. The permits are far easier to get too.

Hang 10
First saw the Wave on the cover of my Geology text book in college. Two years later I finally managed to get out there toward the tail end of an extensive 41 day journey across the united states. Of all the places from Wyoming to the tip of Washingon to Death Valley, this one could take the cake. Beautiful. The swirling sandstone is surreal. Short and easy hike if your route finding skills are somewhat good. I will return here someday.

Awesome Scenery
I discovered The Wave while surfing the net looking for interesting places to hike. I finally got a few friends together to do this one.
This place is even more impressive in person then it appears in the photos.
An easy hike but the scenery is just incredible.

Great Area
I finally got to see this place. It was very beautiful. There was a large pool of water in the middle of The Wave which made a nice reflection with the walls.
