This was my first destination...

This was my first destination on this day: the SW summit of Enchantment Peak. It is almost exactly the same height as the presumed taller NE summit.* The SW Summit requires a little more Class 4 climbing than the NE summit. The routefinding is also more difficult, but the reward of an interesting summit block is better (the summit block is not visible in this photo). From this direction you basically have to climb up to that notch on the right skyline first (Class 3). Photo taken from the SW side on Oct. 2, 2004.
