12 peaks in a day
Red, Red Lookout Site, Thorp, Hard Knox, Not Knox, Hard Cheese, French Tongue, Kachess Ridge, French Chin, French Cabin, French Cabin South Peak, French Cabin North Peak.
Bagged this summit as summit number 1/10 in a contest put on by Sahaptin Outfitters out of Cle Elum. Approached via Knox Creek trail. Lots of snow on the trail, a few feet on the upper slopes. The summit was snow covered but melting fast; the USGS marker was melted out though. Nice views. Someone should go back and brush out the road.

Sweet
This was a great hike on the day. We took the Knox Creek trail to the envy of all the other parties that day. Apparently the Thorp Creek trail isn't in great shape right now and is longer. Great views even with a few high clouds blocking Stuart and Rainier.

Amazing views!
Hiked up via the Knox Creek Trail on a clear sunny day. The wildflowers were at peak, with blooms all along the slopes. And the views from this peak are as amazing as everyone says!

Beautiful wildflowers
No. 007, personal climber's log.
Went just as the snow up top was melting out in some places, great area for upland meadows and wildflowers a little earlier in the season.

nice family trail
watch for the trailhead or you'll end up driving into the forest as the road peters into alder forest shortly after the trailhead at 2 miles from start of spur road.
a little cloudy with occasional chilly winds today but no bugs and anough sun to keep us warm. carried baby + whole family cam along too so it's not too hard. wouldn't have been worth the long drive for a buddy hike unless perhaps combined with another area peak or two as well.

It's all about the views
Great find. A lot of views here for the little effort (5 miles, 1800 feet). Strongly suggested for possible family hike or hikes with those just getting into hiking. Redwic and I spent about the same time on the summit as getting up to the summit.

Awesome Views!!!
I hiked this peak with fellow SPer "EastKing". The route we took was short (only 2.5 miles each way) but the views were superb... much better than expected. I am so happy we went, as it was one of the better vantage points I have seen from any mountain in that general region. Highly recommended.
