From the look of this stormy sky one could say that we should have been heading down. Instead we were relieved to see the blue sky appearing overhead, Center Peak bathing in sunshine, and clouds moving on to the Sierra crest. Now we were sure we could push for the summit. East Vidette. California. September 3, 2007. 3:15pm.
