up and over thunder mountain
We started out from Black Canyon Lake and headed up to the top of the saddle. Rock climbed to the top from there and traversed the top to the beartooth mountain side. We went down that side and boulder hopped down the grasshopper glacier and skirted the lake back to camp. What a hike! If you have never been, it is soooo worth it! With an elevation of just shy of 11,500 its beautiful!
