SE Ridge
On my first attempt (10/24/09) I got to within perhaps 20 feet of the summit via the north route before sheets of down-sloping ice turned me around.
I returned with Natasha on 8/24/13 to get the summit via the SE ridge.

Northwest Ridge with Nartreb
Forgot the camera! The bootpath up to Tinkham was mostly Class 2 with one 20 foot Class 3 move as the crux. Signed the summit log on the West summit and traversed over to the East summit. Views were pretty hazy but the mountain was much better than expected.

SE Ridge
Started at the Mirror Lake TH. No difficulties on the way up, but managed to lose the route on the way down. Had fun finding my way back to Mirror Lake!

Enjoyable
Fun hike up the SE ridge. It looks like Mirror Lake is a popular and fun place for families to camp.

Route Climbed: Mirror lake TH, 3/5/05
Lots of snow and postholing. Got off route and into the cliffbands ( real sketchy . I had to drop back down after an hour probing and swam in the snow up a steep slope to gain the ridge proper. Once on the ridge it was an easy route find.

This fall has offered a lot of sunny days in the Cascades and this was yet another one. Climbed Tinkham and Abiel Peaks starting from the Mirror Lake trailhead. Had both summits to myself. About 8 miles roundtrip.
