Potosi Peak / Horse Mtn
http://www.trimbleoutdoors.com/ViewTrip/12347 - hit this loop. Stayed at Potosi campground overnight Friday and soaked in the hotsprings - also stashed our mtn bikes near the end of an old mining roads for the AM. Got up around 8am and walking to the Potosi Cutoff TH right near Potosi Rd (.5mi from camp). Went up the trail to the first ridge, did some rough (*note: DEEP snow) bushwhacking to the top of the ridge below Potosi. Once on top, traversed the ridge across a couple unnamed peaks and Horse Mtn before dipping down to the old mining road which lead out to our bikes. Did bring and use axes for early season snow conditions - felt necessary on some snowy / exposed ridgeline sections. Quick / fun 5mi descent back to camp.
