"Tortoise Rock"

I found this rock near the highpoint of the Kit Fox Hills. At first glance, I thought it was the shell of a deceased desert tortoise. It was also about the right size. Death Valley National Park, CA-- April 2011

Ha-- imagine if that's what it really was and I was sitting there like a dummy thinking it was a rock! Well, it would have been illegal to take, anyway.
