Climbed with Tim and Ben, hit Treasurevault coming from Arkansas and Tweto on the way to Mosquito. Long traverse, but a rewarding day.

4 PeakTraverse
Hit on the way from Arkansas-Tweto and on the way to Mosquito. With Eric H and Ben. One of them howlin' wind, stinging snow, frostbite and sunburn days.
Climbed with Haliku as part of a Treasurevault-Mosquito-London combination. Was able to drive to about 11,500 on the road still, not too much snow but definitely bring gaitors as there is a good deal of mid-calf postholing in the basin and even on parts of the ridges. Summits was pretty well socked in with a snow squall so we didn't get any sort of view from this one today.

A nice ridge run
From Tweto to Mosquito, a rhyming ridge, how cool is that? A nice area with good access.
Route Climbed: Tweto/Treasurevault/Mosquito/London Date Climbed: 7 October, 2005
I climbed Treasurevault along with several other peaks in the area.
Started from the 2wd TH, at 7am, and climbed the south slopes of Tweto to it's summit. From there over to Treasurevault on to Mosquito and UN 13,548. From there I descended its east ridge and then up London's West Ridge.
Great high ridge walk on a beautiful bluebird fall day.
Route Climbed: From Mosquito Peak Date Climbed: August 20, 1989
We climbed the SE ridge of Mosquito, continued over Treasurevault and on to Tweto along the ridge to the nort, before descending it's SW slopes for a nice high altitude loop trip.
Route Climbed: Cooney Lake Date Climbed: Dec of 2004
This one makes for a nice winter hike. It combines well with Mosquito and London Mountain with minimal avy danger. Don't drink the water, too much mining up there!
Route Climbed: Via Cooney Lake Date Climbed: September 5, 2005
Parked at the end of 2WD and hiked to summit via Cooney Lake. Was on the summit by 10 a.m. It was cloudy and could have become stormy so descended after 25 minutes on the summit with little sunshine and much cold wind. Later became sunny and turned out to be a great day. The reddish grass was beautiful. Saw no one except for a few vehicles on the Mosquito Pass Road section.
