Is this Triglav? If this is Triglav, I really don't know where is it photographed from. Thic picture is beautiful, but probably misleading.

Re: Is this Triglav? The river and the large limestone blocks remind me of Soca, but there is no view like this on Triglav. As I remember Triglav should be higher.

Re: Is this Triglav?OK Vid, my peak recognizing ability among people that know me has always been praised, they can hardly believe how good my space perception and memory is. This certainly is not Triglav! It is almost not visible from Soca valley except from one very short stretch near Trenta village and can be seen through Zadnjica valley. From there it looks distant and very high, almost unrecognizable. My two cents: this is Koritnica river with Jarebica behind. I hope I'm not wrong :-)

Re: Is this Triglav? You're right, Sasa! You indeed have amazingly good perception! This should be Jerebica. I'm collecting courage to post it some time.
Ulli, prehaps just rename this pic to: "In Julian Alps" or something similar.

Probably not Triglav ....Sorry, I only took the comment of the original Photographer.
Probably it is not Triglav then, but some other place in the Triglav National parc.
I leave it here to show how the area looks then. I think it is good for that.
Regards, Ulli
