From Rudno polje
Cloudy weather, crowded trails, very crowded Kredarica hut, fantastic Jota-soup, annoying shouting people in the night in the dormitory, cloudy morning, cloudy ascent, cloudy summit, cloudy descent.
I have to come back here, but that will be in winter.
Route Climbed: 7 Triglav Lakes Valley to Dom Planika and back via Voje Valley Date Climbed: august 2007
Made a 3 day trip from Stara Fuzina, through 7 Triglav Lakes Valley up to Kanjavec and the same day via Dom Planika to Triglav. Descent via Vodnikov Dom and the Voje Valley. Very crowdy on the last part to Triglav and people up there don't realise that despite all the steel and other people (which gives a false feeling of safety) they are still climbing an high alpine summit. Weather, condition, age, experience etc. don't seem to matter, only bagging the summit is important...things must go wrong this way. Nevertheless this was a very rewarding trip!

Hello ! I read your climbing log for Triglav, and I noticed your trip was almost the same as ours, also the date ! (31-01-02/08/2007). Only the 3rd day is a bit different as we descended via Planina v Lazu.
I remember those 3 days were nice, also the following week end, but after, the 1st half of August was not too good... so maybe we met somewhere on the trail ! We slept in Zasavska and Vodnikov Dom :

Vrata-Tominskova-Stanic-top-Dolic-Luknja-Vrata
Well it was very nice the last time I went to Triglav. I was out partying with some friends and we decided to go to Triglav the next day. As two of my friends had work in the morning, we came to the starting-point to Aljazev dom v Vratih at 3 in the afternoon. We really had luck with the weather as it was completely sunny - without a cloud in the sky! We chose Tominskova pot to get up. When we reached Staniceva koca it was alredy dark. We spent the night in the hut, got up early in the morning and we started hiking so we saw the first beams of the rising sun at Kredarica. We climbed up to the top, went down passing Trzaska koca na Dolicu, Luknja and again Vrata.
As we really had fantastic weather we took it on a very easy way. We had several stops just to lie on the sun :-)))

Krma - Kredarica - Triglav
Winter ascent done in the morning of Christmas Eve 2006 from Kredarica. The day before we arrived from Krma valley to Kredarica in about 5:15-5:30 hours. Snow depth measured on Kredarica hut was 90 cm and most of the Triglav ridge was moderately snowed, making the climb adrenaline-pumped, especially when downclimbing unroped sections of the ridge. Splendid weather, crystal clear, cold and windless, offered the spectacular panoramic view in all directions. Definitely a climb worth repeating. :)

Pokljuka-Kredarica-Triglav
Started at 06.00h from Kredarica hut. It was quite cloudy during climbing, but when we reached Aljazev Stolp, clouds get cleared and the view was more than fascinating.
Previous day we came from direction of Vodnikov hut, also day more than perfect.
Climbed on very bad conditions with low visibility and ice from Kredarica hut (norhen side). Come down from Planika side back to Kredarica. It was not walking. The day before and the day after were just perfect but mine was just mine:-)

Bohinj to Mojstrana
I took three days hiking from Bohninj to Mojstrana taking in the seven lakes, Triglav and Krma Valley on the way. Beautiful weather and a very enjoyable trip. A detour to the Zasavska Refuge was worth it for the views. Also a mention for the tourist info office at Mojstrana which was very helpful and would be useful for anyone approaching from the north.
Ascent from Aljazev dom-tomiskinova cesta, descent to Aljazev dom on cesta Prag...
I was 10 and it was my the biggest ascent. We maked this mountain in one day and the end of descent was very physical difficult for me.But it was perfect ascent in beautifull scenery.Perfect...
Route Climbed: ascent via Tominskov Pot trail, descent via Cez Prag trail Date Climbed: 14 August 2005
Nice mountain but a bit too crowded. Could have been better without all these metal things on it - they're diminishing its alpine character. I didn't get to see much, it was mostly cloudy. It was a bit of a problem when I had to descend from Kredarica hut on the next day, after it snowed, wearing sneakers and without gloves.
Route Climbed: ascent: Tominsek Way, descent through Prag Date Climbed: August 30/31st 2004
On August 30th in the morning we leaved the hut Aljazev Dom and during about 5 hours arrived to Triglavski Dom na Kredaricy. The weather was not super: cloudiness and rain - and the Tominskova Pot is some difficult for the people with big rucksacks. Next day in the morning we must way in the hut because of thunderstorm. In the afternoon we decided to go up, in spite of rain and clouds. We took the traditional marked route through Maly Triglav and reached the summit in the fog. Our team (three guys) was the probably only one, which made ascent on this not pretty day. Later we overnight in Triglavski Dom again and made a descent in the route through Prag, on September 1st. The weather on this day was already much better, we meet very few people walking up.
