Mt Langley from Tuttle Creek. First day made it to 12000ft. Second day summitted.

Sand slog suffering
I wasn't successful. Not even close. Once you go off the trail, the elevation is steep immediately, and the terrain is very sandy with a lot of bushwhacking. I gave it a good shot, ended up on the avalanche chute, and just was having too miserable of a time to keep going.
Would also note that driving to the Tuttle Creek trailhead is not trivial. The last 7/10th of a mile is a little sketchy and would encourage anyone without a 4x4 to park at the little outcropping before the last section. The last section has some rocks, wash outs and there are multiple sections where the road is off-camber. Be careful

Winter ascent
Spent 1st night at the Warren Harding Hut (about 1h30 walk from the car). Second night at around 10,200ft. Summit and down on the 3rd day. Great snow condition, Very Windy while approaching the summit. I made a video of the climb and uploaded it on youtube:
