Climbed this in the summer of 1992. There was a marmot who would practically eat out of your hand.

Excellent Views
Continous uphill grade, though not so bad that one is out of breath. Good trail the entire way. Excellent views from the top, especially of Longs Peak and RMNP.

Good times
This was a very fun and relaxed hike. The condition of the Twin Sisters Trail is excellent all the way to the top. It took us 2 hours to get up and 1 down. I’d recommend any early start just to avoid the large number of tourists that start mid morning. Excellent views of Longs Peak on the way up, and great 360 views on top, as well as some bighorn sheep if you are lucky.
I thoroughly enjoyed this hike. Hit the trailhead at 5:45, got to the top at 7:20, and enjoyed fantastic views in all directions at 7:21. Had the peak all to myself for almost a full half hour. The family of bighorn sheep hangin out near the top was really cool.

Piece o'cake
Day after running the Bolder Boulder, decided to go on a short day hike with my brother before heading our separate ways. Beautiful view of Longs from the top, easy conversational hike wherein no breath was lost. A fun day with the brother, topped off by beers at Estes Park Brewery (I've had better microbrew to be certain...).
We had superb weather for the hike; nearly clear skies, warm temps, light winds, and long views. The only drawback was the warm temps majorly softened the snow on the way back down and we were postholing up to our waist in spots, until we got back down into the shady areas. The shady spots were better, but very slick, as 95% of the trail was still snow-covered.

Route climbed: Standard-Twin Sister's Trail
1st attempt on June 17 2000-snowed out! 2nd, a year later to the day-it is a stout day hike. 3rd attempt Feb '03-ran out of time in the snow at timberline. 4th attempt-4/08/07-made the summit and drank a shot to a friend in the snow.
Was a beautiful clear day for a climb...little windy at the top but great views of Longs/Meeker. Scrambled to both peaks, were the only ones scrambling the taller of the two for some reason. Followed this by hiking to Ouzel Falls nearby...which were magnificent. Great day of hiking!

Three Twins?
The sisters offered a nice view of Longs, etc., but the downscramble to the saddle with the peak (unnamed?) to the south and the scramble up to its summit was more enjoyable, more hands-on (rock) and offered a better view. Made the sisters, themselves, look like bland ol' humps in the ground.

Perfect Morning LightWe hit the trail at 4:45 am so we'd have "perfect" light on Long's Peak. We did and it was great.

Normal RouteI've climbed Twin Sisters 6 or 7 times. I love it. It provides the best views of the Longs-Meeker-Lady Washington massif.

Nice short hike to wonderful viewsLeft TH at 12:45, returned at 3:45 in a downpour. Tagged both summits. Saw a bunch of unprepared people headed up in an approaching storm.
