Tyee and Signal
Drove my Subaru to the lookout and then we hiked to the two Tyee Ridge high points and then over to Signal Peak.

Nice LO, Awful Road
I agree with Eric's comments. One of the major problems with the final 4.2 miles to the lookout is that there are few pullout/pullover/turnaround areas. I am certain that the road has become even worse since Eric's visit during 2005. So once you are on the road, you are basically committed... and if you try driving to the lookout without high-clearance 4WD/AWD, perhaps you should be "committed" in another sense. The lookout has fantastic views.

Tyee
I was able to drive to the top in my Honda Accord but only because I really couldn't find another place to turn around. I pushed a sedan further than most folks would be comfortable; even I would not want to drive a sedan up this mountain after driving that road. In fact, driving roads like this is why my Accord broke down and I had to buy a vehicle that was suited to such roads. :-( Regardless, tagged my lookout. I was not bagging P1000s in those days or I would have made some sort of effort to get on over to Peak 6998. Oh well, someday...
