SE drainage  Sucess!

Up Stanley Canyon to where the trail levels out and then up the SE drainage. Continued on to North Peak (Eagle Peak). Nice short hike if you don't have time to do an all day climb.

Via Stanley Canyon  Sucess!

Great solo afternoon outting with Stimpy the dog. Stanley Canyon was steep, rocky and full of ice flows, as expected. I was surprised at how steep and rugged the final summit push was to reach this little peak - surprisingly great day! Loved the views from the top, especially as snow showers began shrouding Pikes Peak.

Steep, somewhat unpleasant trail  Sucess!

Steep trail, a little unpleasant with no switchbacks, some fairly severe erosion problems, and loose decomposed granite pebbles on most of the boulders/trail surface.
