Almost the end of a long day!
After Gothics, almost Armstrong, no vis and alot of rain, I was really in the mood for this day to end. However, I was right there and I figured "what the hell?" Nice wooded, rocky summit, and I'm sure there was a view out there somewhere, but as I said, no visibility at all!
Hiked with friends from Rooster comb trailhead. Not much of a view. good hike though

Wolf Jaw Lean-to -> Gothics -> Armstrong -> U. Wolfjaw -> Wolf Jaw Lean-to
Part of a three day camping trip. Left my full pack at the lean-to and day hiked these three. Lots of people on top of all three since it was Columbus Day weekend. Beautiful day and great views though. High Peak #12.

Upper Wolf Jaw Mountain
Climbed with Lower Wolf Jaw via Range Trail from the Ausable Club. Blueberries dotted the trailside for most of the way. A good interductory hike to New York's most rugged range. Excellent views from the summit.

From Sawteeth, Gothics, & Armstrong
Nice hike in the fall. Some rain and wind, but we lucked out for the most part. Mud, leaves, and slippery roots, but that's part of hiking this time of year. Scenic though. : ) Headed to Lower Wolf Jaw then back out via the road. 10/46
Not a bad summit, could be a lot better or worse. Little hot for october.
