I have just pitched my tent outside Ďurková hut. It is late but I got a substantial dinner and an enormous mug of tea.

Why did you

pitch your (brand new? what is its weight?) tent? And how about jovial admin (remember of my 2007 visit) of this old-fashioned hut?

It's Naturehike Cloud Up 2 20D bought a year ago. It’s really big, in theory for two people and weighs just 1.6kg plus extra ground sheet 0.25kg (I do carry and use it): see details here.
As for the hut owner, I didn't meet him but the staff I talked to seemed friendly and the dogs were very friendly too :)
