V 3 has a bad reputation for loose scree, but we had tons of snow and did a snow couloir on its NW side and descended down to the saddle with 12,348. It was all covered with the snow, at some sections steep up to 40 degrees and pretty hard. Fun day out.

LooseFrom Swamp Canyon TH, peak is a mess dry. Definitely would be better with snow!
