Good page for a peak that otherwise would probably never gets its due. With over 1200 feet of prominence, the views must be pretty good. I was actually thinking about hiking in to the Vanity Lakes in a couple weeks, now I can add a peak to the wish list for that visit. About how long is the hike from the trailhead to the summit?

Re: Vanity
Thanks Dave. It's definitely a pretty area. If you take the most direct route (northwest ridge), it's about three miles from the trailhead. I seriously thought about dropping down into one of other drainages from the top. The walk back up from Cliff Creek looks pretty easy. I will warn you though that the great views are hampered by the immense ammount of smoke up there right now.
