Various routes up Mt. Langley...

Various routes up Mt. Langley are shown in this picture. The red line indicates the route I took, more direct, but does involve some fun routefinding up the class 2-3 rocks. The standard trail, blue line, is all sand and after the long sandy slog from Old Army Pass it was nice to be on rock again.

what you should look for

Just got back home from Langley, I couldn't summit due to the lack of a way to the top I went to the east in this photo then to the west. If you go to Langley dont follow any of the paths they are almost all wrong. Very hard to follow trails after coming over new army pass. This is an excellent photo and I actually went a little to the right of the class 2-3 scramble and stopped almost to the top due to the sand acumulated on the rocks. Thanks for posting this picture, although I want to hit myself in the head for not looking a little longer, but time was an issue for me. Maybe next time!!!
