in august 2005 we climbed VM Ponca. We stayed overnight at the hut, and went up early.I remember some heavy snoring, the hut was full, and I was terribly cranky. On our way up, two of men rescued a female, stuck somewhere in the rocks, she had some respiratory problems. The ascent is long and hard and exhausting, the last, climbing part being rather short and not so easy.on our way down, we approached Bivak1, and started to climb toward Mala Ponca, but we were to tired, and later our group seperated, and two of us got lost.We went to far to the left, and took us a long time to realize that the best way is to go back and then
down.I could hardly walk in the end, my cousin was greatly relieved when she finally saw me at the hut.Orientation is somewhat difficult.
