Veliki Buk, 20m high...

Veliki Buk, 20m high waterfall on Zrmanja river, during summer drought. From autumn to spring it is huge curtain of water, which has a horse shoe shape, without any rocks visible. 150m high cliff in the back ground dominates above the point where Krupa river flows into Zrmanja. Somewhere in the cliffs are ruins of old town. Area is not accessible by car as there are no roads approaching the canyons. If you visit Velebit, Crnopac especially, try not to miss rafting or canoeing on these amazing rivers. Several agencies organize them. SE Velebit.
