Tan colored rope?In some of the other pictures it looks like you were using double ropes, red and blue. So I am not sure what what purpose the tan colored rope is playing in the system. A fixed rope that someone else left?

Re: Tan colored rope? No. We were four friends. One more experienced leading, two climbers connected to the leader by the red and blue ropes and the fourth with a third rope joined to the third climber. At the end of each pitch, the leader controls the second and the third climber. When the third clmber reachs the leader, the fourth climber, belayed by the third, can start bringing all the equipments (friend, nuts etc.) provisionally fixed on the route. I hope it is clear. This a typical system by which you are not fast but surely you are safe.

Re: Tan colored rope? Thanks for the explanation. I just assumed you were a party of two so couldn't figure out the 3rd rope.
