"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Via del VeteranoWhoever did it, thanks for those excellent bolts, markings, chains for aiding descent etc.

Via del VeteranoHad the bad luck to climb with a veteran, 30+, which took a lot of time..

via del veteranoIt probably won't give you the satisfaction of an alpine rockclimbing route, but as an badweather alternative or endurance/experience training it's good.
As often with attempts to create a long bolted route in a lower part of the Alps, the route is climbed in sections divided by a few ledges.

Variant Via del VeteranoDue to bad weather all over the Alps we choose to climb Via del Veterano. Nice long route, but too grassy and a bit easy.
Climbed with Bas, Jeroen and Wouter.
