View Benchmark (UT)

There are two ways to get to View BM's peak and about a half mile from the wire cable at the end of Deer Ridge road, is this sign that seems to forbid you going further. However, I believe it is aimed really towards those who would use this area to dump stuff and isn't aimed at hikers since there are no other markers of this kind and none at the trailhead. It is probable that some day there will be further housing development in this area but for now it should be o.k. You can avoid this sign altogether by taking a road junction that switchbacks up (my preferred route anyway) about a 100 yards back down the road (which serves as a trail).
