a variation

I would suggest rather than following the line in the photo taking a more direct approach up and over the rocks on the right to the small sub peak seen in the photo. When I climbed Malinche I followed the line (marked on this photo) and got the hell beat out of me slipping on all of the volcanic dust and loose scree for an hour and a half while most other groups followed this other line and were 45 minutes to 1 hour ahead and much fresher... just a suggestion though
